If we are really loading up for the stretch run of a lifetime then I would absolutely give them Moss and a 3rd. I did read somewhere online that his salary this year is actually very affordable and that maybe we would just move on from him after the year?

Okposo & Girgs play valuable defensive roles that the kids aren’t ready for yet
And they do it pretty well

Them wearing letters isn’t gonna stop the kids from developing- it actually helps by not putting the kids in situations where they’re unlikely to succeed

That said,
I do think Cozens can become a good 2way center
A line of Asplund-Cozens-Tuch could be effective at both ends of the ice
And if successful enough, could eliminate the need to have a defensive line anchored by Okposo & Girgs moving forward
But for now, we still need them

For years they said the same thing about Yzerman. There is no reason to arbitrarily throw the baby out with the bath water. What I don't get about many on this board is that so many of the posts start with the premise that the wheels are going to fall off and then they proceed to hammer Adams over something that hasn't happened. If Okposo stinks then we will address it at the end of the year. If he plays like he did last year we will address it at the end of the year. This thing about the captaincy is much ado about nothing. He, Girgs, Anderson and Tuch were already the leaders on the team. The letters didn't change that. Be careful before you get too close to that ledge.
