We are talking about resigning Okposo at the end of the year for 2 more years. I want to make sure we have cash for another player if he does get hurt, as suggested was something to be concerned with.

This would be the straw that broke Camel Toe Harris's back for me.
The guy needs to go. I'm fine with him here this season, bit if next year is the turn-the-corner year we have been told is the plan; then it needs to start with shedding a slow Okposo...of course after they trade Girgs at the TDL

But we don’t run an offense that is gonna target CMC 8xs a game either,
so he won’t be nearly as effective here as he has been in the past

That doesn’t mean he can’t still be an effective player for us, especially this year
But fitting him under the Cap moving forward is gonna be tough
We already lack room for next year,
and are gonna have to make moves to bring back Poyer & Edmunds (& Morse if we still want him)

Also, we did just draft Cook to fill the role (or at least a sizable part of the role) that CMC will fill

My buddy sent me an article a few days from a Carolina prospective. McCaffrey would command a 1st or a 2nd and some picks according to the article.

He's the panther's marketing gold piece.....

Would hit the franchise financially, although it might be a good move , moving on from him as a football organization.

I think he will absolutely get moved. They know they are in a rebuild and the last thing a rebuild needs is a veteran running back. They were rumored to be shopping him in the offseason and we were rumored to have interest then. If we are really loading up for the stretch run of a lifetime then I would absolutely give them Moss and a 3rd. I did read somewhere online that his salary this year is actually very affordable and that maybe we would just move on from him after the year?
