May have been right that baker isn’t the answer. But Watson is a probably a trash person.

Gabe is a stud. But what is he elite at? Getting worried that we will be the first team with 2 receivers making at least 20mil. Does Josh just make good receivers look great?

I was comparing him to pickens today and you can see the difference of traits between him and Gabe.

Think Beaner has a price he would be happy with Gabe but can see him pricing himself out of buffalo. Would hate that

- ZiggyBuff

Does Gabe become trade bait, the Bills are already over the cap next year. Think Poyer and Edmunds are gone and probably someone else

Def dont think so. Bean will give it his all to try to resign Gabe. But think he knows what he is worth for what he has to offer.

Poyer, Edmunds gone. Oliver prob after next year. Especially if they resign gabe. Then think beaner saves his $ for a future Roussou signing.

Really hope they go offensive line 2 out of the first 3 picks this year. Even the first 2. Protect Josh and everything else falls into place

The spread doesn’t mean sh!t
Just get the “W”
And hopefully no more injuries

They covered, as great teams do. Now, let me point out the Atlanta Falcons who may be 2 - 3 in the NFL but are 5 - 0 in a much more important way to some people.

Waivers for today are out, no Sabres.
- Lunaion

Imagine this got lost in the shuffle, but it was the last time to waive and be compliant before the roster deadline tomorrow.

Fitz, Sheahan, Bjork are all on the initial roster.

First guess is that some of the injuries are more serious than they are letting on.

Really hope they keep Gabe to, Beane has his work cut out for him. And OL seems to be one of his weak spots drafting wise. I agree that OL needs work.

Had never gone high drafting O-line. Except Cody. I forgive BBB. Go 1,2 this draft. OT, OG. Thats of course if we pay gabe. If somehow he prices himself out of buffalo, then mix in a WR.

I believe Sheahan is hurt and will begin the season on the IR, plus Pilut will not need to clear waivers to go down, as you know.

I'd guess Sheahan will be waived when he becomes healthy again.

After 2 stressful Bills games in a row ….. this one was nice.

Obviously the bigger game is vs the chiefs next week.

Also happy for James cook. Finally did something right

I can't find anything on if the rule was extended for this season. It allowed a 6 man taxi squad of players whose first $1.125 mil of salary would not count against the cap on a callup, if the callup were due to COVID. It also had a maximum of 20 days any player could be on the squad.

In any case, does it matter for a team with $20 mil in cap space? I don't think it changed anything as far as starting a free agency clock for a young guy.

It could mean a lot to Vegas though.

Don’t worry. The bills will restructure some deals aka Allen’s deal and a couple others to create space.

The salary cap is a joke in the NFL. Gotta remember that.

Bills have a fair share of good players coming up for contract's around the same time. Gonna be interesting to see who Beane prioritizes.

Hadn't heard about Sheahan, that's a key piece of the puzzle. Just takes Okposo missing time or sending Pilut down.

They went till the Allstar break. No word if the rule was extended to this year. I assume no, but one never knows with the Mickey Mouse... err NHL.

I think they had them back for about a month, when whatever variant it was at the time was bad.
