He hasn't been able to practice with the team since being put on PUP, even when they bring him off it might take a few weeks of practice to get up to game speed. |

The way I read it is they have 5 weeks from now to allow him to return to practice or put him on IR. When he returns to practice, they have 3 weeks to activate or IR.
Just think you flipped the 3 and 5 weeks around. |
