I'd bet Robertson wants at least $9M per, and possibly for a shorter term (say 5 seasons), so he can really cash in big when the cap has zoomed upwards.

There is definitely that caveat. He's still a young player but his metrics aren't screaming at us like, say, Cozens. He's an exceptionally talented transitional player but his shooting isn't great and his defense is poor. Tage is subjectively a more helpful player to his own team.
