I still remember when Habs fans thought Caufield was going to outscore Matthews

I had a choice to take Boldy or Caufield in my fantasy draft and I chose Boldy all day.

I do think he scores 25-30 though. Unless he is really bad he should get a leash from MSL.

Still think consistency will be an issue but he will get his looks.

I found it funny that basically every highlight in the Habs favour (on the highlights this morning) was from Holl falling over for no reason on their goal, getting beat by a guy with no hips, only for the goalie to save him from being the victim of the highlight of the night, or being so far out of position that the goalie had to make an incredible save.

Watch the only Hab goal last night. Lil' Druin skates into the crease and pushes him aside like a bowl of bad milk to get position and bang the puck into the net.

I don't hate Holl like some but c'mon man!

Yes he had some gafs but the season regulars aren’t truly playing their type of game (his includes the body far more) so they aren’t hurt to start the season.

He’s a 2 mill d man… not a star, and their only rightie who isn’t essentially a rookie and is hurt. Get used to him because he’s not going anywhere anytime soon lol

None of the guys who are starters in the regular season played a physical game last night cept for Bunting which doesn’t surprise me lol

Tbh my primary concern is that they won’t be able to afford to keep Robertson up to start the season and that sucks… even more than some of you guys think Holl does lol

The goal being on the power play and the goalie to thank for saving his +/-. And assists are assists, yeah, but look at the replay of the 2nd goal and tell me he actually did anything there.

I know it's unfortunately unlikely that he's not going anywhere. Look at how this started, though. I was joking about everyone else trading Holl.
