The Flyers could still turn this around, it will take a minimum of 4 years though.

1) Draft better
They NEED to win a top 2 pick (Bedard or Fantilli) in 2023. They could possibly have 2 1st round picks in 2024, hopefully they can get a crack at Kiviharju.
Need to start finding some solid defensemen prospects in later rounds.

2) Make smart trades
Get everything that is possible for UFAs (JvR, Braun). Trade Sanheim if cost is too much.
Not going to unload the big terms (Hayes, Atkinson, Couturier, Ristolainen), gotta run out term.
Only shop some vets if return is good (Konecny, Provorov).

3) Most important! Offseason signings
DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT sign any UFAs with a longer term than 2 years or more than 2m. Most Important to turn this around....do not sign anyone other than temp depth. Even if it's a 100 point player DO NOT sign them. That will destroy the team further. Wait at least 3-4 years.

4) Hopefully the current team can build a work ethic that has been lacking for over a decade so young guys can build from that.
