Apparently the logo for the Habs' road jersey is still for sale. I'm sure they will find another company who's colours will totally clash with the white jersey

Montreal Canadiens general manager Kent Hughes announced on Friday that the team has cut 13 forwards, eight defensemen and two goaltenders from training camp.

The players will report to Laval Rocket training camp, which starts on Sunday, October 2.

Under NHL contract, they will be loaned to the Laval Rocket:

Lucas Condotta, Gianni Fairbrother, Cam Hillis, Jan Mysak and Joël Teasdale

Training camp try-out with the Rocket:

Pierrick Dubé, John Parker-Jones, Miguël Tourigny and William Trudeau

Released from Canadiens training camp, but will join Laval Rocket training camp:

Yeah, I hope more trims coming soon... at least we are down to a somewhat manageable list of players. Surprised by some that are still there, though.

such as..? I know guys like Trudeau and Simoneau weren't incredible out there but they weren't so turrible either.

also there are still 5 games left to play, I'd rather have younger guys lower on the depth chart play some of those rather than seeing a regular or an aspiring prospect get injured during pre-season.

Yeah, saw that... too many pre-season games.

LOL.

There are really only 2-3 guys who have a shot at making the team... maybe 1 or 2 more, if the injury situations does not get resolved.

I'd really like to see some of the expected line combos, other than the Dvorak line, get some game time together.
