I think that's their thinking. if they're gonna get a crap dman in return for one of our crap forward... why not just stay the course and play the kids? live with their errors, be patient.

apparently Jeff Petry was saying the difference in PIT is that they're going for the cup, they don't want to just make the playoffs.

I get that, but it kind of (frank)ing helps when you have guys like Crosby, Malkin and Letang on the roster lol.
