Yeah, Slaf will get every opportunities to show he can stay in the NHL.
So far, I think he goes to the AHL. - Scabeh
I'd like to see him with an NHL caliber center.
...and no, Rem Pitlick is not a center, I don't know if that was an experiment, but hopefully it doesn't drag for too long |

I believe St-Louis said Pitlick went at centre only because Suzuki and Monahan we're still not ready.
But yeah, wish we could see Slaf with Suzuki at some point.

Slaf needs to work on his puck protection and how to find the empty spaces on the ice. Right now he's just standing in front of the net with a defensemen checking his stick. He needs at least half a season in the AHL.
But so far i'm impressed by the whole package

People really underestimate the impact of a smaller ice too.
It's way easier to get open when there's more room in the offensive zone.
He'll learn. I don't consider him starting in Laval a failure at all. He can learn at a slower pace there if needed.

In 2006, Sleeman Breweries was purchased by Sapporo Breweries for $400 million; in the agreement, John W. Sleeman sold all of his shares to Sapporo but continued as president until 2010.[11] In 2012, the company produced 1,157,420 hL (30,576,000 US gal) of beverages, an increase of approximately 40,000 hL (1,100,000 US gal) over the previous year.
As of 2020, the company's President and CEO was Jesse Hanazawa.[12] The company was brewing its products in three cities: Guelph, Ontario; Chambly, Quebec; and Vernon, British Columbia. These facilities were manufacturing Sleeman, Okanagan Spring and Unibroue Canadian beers as well as the Sapporo, Old Milwaukee and Pabst Blue Ribbon brands.[13][14] (The plant in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia was closed in 2013.)[15] |
