I'd like to see Sanheim dress for more preseason games. Specifically to get more PP time.

He needs to pay his dues so he can get more PP time this season. If he bangs a few more bodies and loses a few more teeth I think he'll be ready.

Such BS the NFL version got banned.

For me, there is too many years of evidence that Fletcher gets zero results from his effort to assemble a winning hockey team. Same for Clarke’s ability to abandon his mindset for building a team. Clarke has shown no evidence of being interested in modernizing his view on player evaluations.

I am a bring back the red line, prefer clutching and grabbing to slow the game down, lover of hockey fights. But that era of hockey is LONG gone.

If I’m gonna have to watch this watered down, soft version of Ice hockey, I’d at least like my team to realize how hockey is being played today and try and build a team to be successful in this era.

Fletcher, Clarke, Scott aren’t going to do that. Get rid of them. Until that’s done, it’s hard to care about the Flyers.

Really. Clutch and grab results in low scoring, boring defense and lack of respect and enforcement of the rules of the game. Removing clutch and grab means defenders have to move their feet to play defense. Clutch and grab hockey is just ugh.

Totally agree, I will watch this team no matter what state they are in. I will watch hockey any chance I get, it is one of my top 2 sports.. Prospect games are fun to watch.

Yes of course but the point is, there is a lot of data to suggest that "observational opinion"would not add much as far as the ability of individual prospects to help Flyers prospects goes

A lot of people like to watch youngsters in the same way they like to watch their kids. Doesn't matter how they turn out: there is joy to watch in and of itself.

That's why I watch. Hockey player evaluation isn't my job nor am I trained in it. Besides, I think it would be very difficult to accurately (or at least fairly) assess any player by watching a television broadcast.
