Several of these spaghetti models show this storm doing some crazy poop over the SE US. There’s gonna be a lot of flooding if it starts doing loop de loops up there and doesn’t go away.
And the model furthest east shows it backing up along the Cuba coast and then heading for the Bahamas.

Ya, the threat is the flooding due to a 1 -2 punch of storm surges of Gulf water at levels of 6-10 feet being pushed onshore, and a slow moving storm that drenches the area with lots of rain...they're saying some areas of upto 15 inches.

7D is always a funny decision. If they like Fitz, they might prefer to take the small risk and have him playing games in Roch than sitting in the press box. Top 6 seems set and not a situation where the 7D is ever dressing (barring injury).

Clague is an interesting option as well. He's younger than Pilut and Fitz, has more NHL games than either, and may be the best player of them. One of the UFA signings could easily end up landing that spot.

That's all find and dandy, but we supposedly didn't go out and make a significant move because it's a see what you got year. OK let's see what you got, let Kozak or Kulich if earned throughout preseason start the year hear, so what if girgs or Hino or Sheahan sit, those guys are hopefully part of your future. Just don't say screw it there waiver exempt.

Fitzgerald was the spark plug the Sabres needed for a period of time last season. He did look terrible at the end of the season though, still young and one of the only guys to play with no fear.
