If this hockey team is serious about winning games this year Krebs, Cozens and Olofsson are on PP1 and Mitts and Skinner are not.

w/e they used last year is fine. during the end of the season run they had the top PP in the league. As long as 71 and/or 72 are able to blast one timers the PP units will score.

My issue with Krebs is I watched him pick himself up off the ice three times in the 1st period alone today because anyone in the NHL can knock him to the ice at will in a corner battle. The ONLY thing he does above average is set people up on the power play. that's it. that's not enough to stick as a non top 6 player, and he's not near good enough to be a top 6 player still. I think he needs to go to Rochester. I would take Peterka over him right now on the Sabres. If Krebs cannot play top 6 he's not worth having on the team.

If they want to keep the same units that’s fine, but the unit with Krebs, Olofsson, and Cozens should be the first over the boards. They are the better PP unit.

Just hope this goes a lot deeper than that.

Agree that he'd be a part for sure.
I want him to succeed, I don't know if he has it. He's still young in terms of games played, but he is on the clock to start showing something.

Preseason just doesn't give enough of an opportunity for him. Anderson + Comrie will get the final 2 games and he goes to Roch.

Solid effort. Good goaltending. We certainly didn't see Pit's best roster, but they didn't see ours. We did see a decent goalie and beat him twice.

Tage and Vic both have A+ shots, but we knew that already.

A lot of the youngsters have looked like 12th 13th forward material to me. My best guess for the lineup (we'll get a much better look at the actual lineup in the last 2 preseason games):

Skinner - Tage - Tuch
Asplund - Cozens - Vic
Quinn - Mitts - Vinnie
Peterka - Z Train - Okposo

Weissbach as the 13th forward. These would be the best 13 to me, but I can see Biro, Kozak, or Krebs all as rostered players on opening night.

We can also get a glimpse of Savoie for 9 games. I don't necessarily think he deserves it, but - due to his special circumstance - maybe.

I would be floored if we got Robertson. No one in the organization is out of order if we were trading for him.

tbh, I'd rather have Vinnie filling that role and a better, younger guy scoring goals for us.
