What! Every team does it, especially when you have a chance to grab a young good player. That's what teams do to try and get better, just like going and getting Robertson would be for To try and get better. Bad business when you don't even try!!

Might not be related but I just flew back to the Albany area from out west and flights for all of the carriers were messed up. A hurricane in Florida affects schedules everywhere. Cancellations and delays with no option of alt routes. ⛈✈️💥

So I am giving up more assets than I would have for Debrincat for a unhappy hockey player in the same situation Dallas is in. Either trade for the Sabres would or should come with a contract extension. So again term shouldn't matter in either case.
