I dont think the players respect/value the current medical staff (Eichel/Lehner results etc) which makes it laughable that more communication is the solution.

Does Terry spend the money to compete for the best talent for the medical staff, even if he does would the best want to live in buffalo?

Edit*

Are the Bills injuries a result of the medical staff focused on the president of the team instead?

I don't know, injuries happen they are both contact sports. And football players are so big now, Human body wasn't really built for that beating.

Youtube thumbnail engineer, and this new sabres season has the feeling of a semester change not new year. Not much excitement going on, with little improvement made to build hope on.

"Fitzgerald or Pilut would be the 8th defenseman on the team,"

who is the 7th?

- homiedclown

The other guy. I'm assuming they'll keep 2 extra forwards

Skinner-tall guy- tuch
Olofsson-Krebs-Cozens
Peterka-Mitts-Quinn
Asplund-Girgs-Okposo
Hinostroza
Bjork

They could carry 8 d instead of 14 forwards but I don't really see the point when Pilut is waivers exempt and wouldn't play a ton anyway

Like the AGO line.

I think vinnie draws in the opening lineup with bjork and peterka sitting , as of now.

Vinnie is donnie's guy.
Donnie's guy plays to start IMO

Krebs has fantastic vision and I think it's best used at center. Cozens I think could do either and will have a shot to play it on a different line if Mitts doesn't work out at center.

The decision to play Cozens at center versus wing will be an interesting one

It wouldn't shock me if they did that, but it kind of goes against the point of this season. We know what Vinnie can do. John Jason is the future.

Free agent CB Xavier Rhodes is visiting with the Bills.
Buffalo has suffered a series of devastating secondary injuries in the season's first month, leaving them needy on the backend. In his eighth NFL season, Rhodes started 29 games for the Colts in 2020 and 2021. He had three interceptions over those two seasons. He could immediately play heavy snaps in Buffalo if the Bills sign him this week.

Totally off topic.... Jupiter is approaching the closest to Earth in 60 years, and is directly opposite of the sun in relation to the Earth. Jupiter will be the brightest object (besides the moon, of course) in the night sky this week. I wanted to check it out starting last night, but I will be under a blanket of tropical clouds all week.

Apparently you could see Jupiter's rings last night with just Binoculars, to bad it was raining here too

Cozens brings a strong 200' game normally required at C.
That said, it is another development and evaluation year, so I can see them testing out all sorts of combinations.

Human nature though

Donnie trying to win the first game of the season, I think you still see the vets .

Craig A
Vinnie H
Zem G

Each game is a 1 game elimination, from a coaches perspective. Gotta win that opener, gotta go veteran line up IMO.

* anyone going to the opener tonight?

Strangely sold (2) sets of 4 tickets for $8 per ticket each.
Compared to $6 regular season tickets a couple years ago.

I think the Bill's are pricing people to the Sabres, well the 2nd hand market...

just because Anderson is 41 doesnt mean he doesnt have to get into game shape....terrible take...let him play a period and a half then let comrie or subban play the rest of the game
