You said I wasn't comparing apples to apples... What was I comparing?

A year difference in age has little to no effect for maturity/growth at that point of their stages

- DirtyDan

It's not 1 year, unless you are counting Debrincat's second year as a pro vs Robertson's first. Debrincat's first year as a pro was 19 years old. Robertson's was 21. That's two years from what I can see, yet your so focused on the second year of Debrincat's career vs Robertson's first for some reason.

He was 19 for like 2 months.... Robertson was 21 for the full year... Its a 1 year difference give or take some months

Yeah, 2 months, except you play close to 35 games before the Christmas break yearly. So almost half the games he was 19. Good dodge though.

And not that hard to look up, Chi played 36 games before Debrincat turned 20.

35 % of his games he played at 19... you are reeeeaaachhhing here. Its really no difference.

Maturity between those ages varies from person to person.

Robertsons first 2 seasons ppg player. Cat .78 ppg.

The #'s is really ALL that matters

Math isn't your strong suite is it. That's 44% of games at age 19 vs 100% at age 21. And I'm the one who's reaching

And I can mildly agree here. Over the past two years, they're both around a ppg player. So what's your point that Robertson is way above Debrincat? Because he's a year and a half younger? Isn't that a big contradiction to what you're trying to say about their first two years? I'm sure it isn't, because you're the one who said it and stuff.

Whens its all said and done no ones going to say "well Debrincat did get x amount of points when he was 19 years old for 2 months "

How is that a contradiction?

I'm just basing their first 2 seasons in the NHL as Robertson only have 2 seasons to base off.

Because you're using Debrincat's first two years vs Robertson's first two years or it could be looked at the last two season (which is also Robertson's first two years as you've mentioned). Why not just go off of the most recent data available as they're both in their peaks physically right now? At that, they are nearly identical. You're insistent upon using their first two years. Why? That's why I keep bringing up age and how it's not apples to apples when comparing a 19 year old (44% of games) vs a 21 year old (3 more months to keep growing before his first actual game)

Operating below the cap isn't a GM decision and has nothing to do with hockey.

Ventura strikes again.

Smart moves by Ventura, not so sure about KA on these moves though .....

Let's base it on something else....

Cozens, Quinn, and a top 5 protected 1st.

- Lunaion

2023 unprotected first, Olofsson, Johnson, Flyers '23 second

Let's see em bet on not being terrible this year

Mitts - last year was promissing, looked like he was coming around
Or
Krebs - I like him quite a bit and believe he is going to be more a Briere type player, this would hurt

And
Kulik - really excited to see this kid play, think he is going to ve pretty, pretty good. This would hurt as well.
Or
Olofsson - if they want Immediate scoring help

For a guy coming off his ELC and is an RFA under team control for 5 more seasons (if I read the UFA qualifications properly). Ya, I would pay a price now vs a guy who could walk in 2 years...big difference IMO.

I would hope Adams was able to come up with these moves on his own, I mean it didn't take much.

I like that '23 Flyers 2nd point.
Kinda makes me want to keep it though.

If it's that easy, Dallas would have signed him

What?
I didn't mention his Contract...Dallas is going to be in tough territory next offseason...and challenged if JR wants $8m.

Not sure of your point?
