bah, things can change very quickly, it only takes an injury or 2 for a team to be looking for some offensive output and have the cap space to do so all of a sudden. let's say the habs use Hoffman on the PP during the season and he manages to be effective, then it's not that silly to think there might be some interest for him. anyway I wouldn't necessarily bet on any of it happening but I would prefer at least trying him out and optimizing his chances of succeeding, rather than categorically giving up on the idea of a potential trade.

you best be careful about what you say, the habs were pretty damn "spoiled" last year in terms of injuries, and now there's already a pattern that's starting to emerge again and we haven't even started the season yet... she has more power than any hat combined.
