A bit anecdotal here, but since 2019-20 Rust & Malkin have spent 930 mins together at 5v5 hockey. Results:
54% control of shot-attempts
57% (!!!!!) control of expected-goals
56% control of raw scoring chances
58% of goals scored
It's almost a no-brainer to play them together."
I really hope they do this and put Rak on top line. It's the best setup IMO. Give Malkin some Rust, toss in a bitta Petry and look out. |

I could also see Zucker with Crosby. They played well together before, and as we all know, Crosby demands speed on his line. |

That’s what I want. Zucker was/is a good fit with Sid. With the other wing being an elite goal scorer in Guentzel he can focus on playing his game and taking his goals as they come. |

Of all the forwards in the game in Columbus, I thought Svejkovsky stood out the most. He’s not mentioned much. but I could see him getting a call up at some point over some others. Defensively, Oullet played a steady game while also dropping a guy in a fight. - sjfpp
I only watched the first period. I agree, the only player that looked decent was Svejkovsky. Maybe not fair to judge these guys because that wasn't even an AHL roster.

I'd be totally fine with that too as I, like many others, am not a fan of Zucks and Geno together. |

Want to know who will be in the lineup for tomorrow's preseason contest against Detroit?
We've got your answer: http://pens.pe/3dQKGWl
Appears Sullivan is going with the opening day roster here. Possible exceptions are Heinen and Carter. Carter is injured, don't know about Heinen.

I'd like to see a fully healthy Zuck with Geno. But I'm definitely down with...
Guentz-Sid-Rak
Zuck-Geno-Rust |

Yup... But I really think it should be:
Zucks-Sid-Rak
Guentz-Geno-Rust
I was clamoring for it last season. However, just like last season, Sully probably isn't gonna do it this one either hahah so I won't keep bringing it up... Sound good 10inch? |

Anyone have a NHL fantasy spot open? I’ve wanted to give it a shot but never really had an ‘in’ on a league. |

Interesting lineup for sure. Got 14 locks including the top 2 lines and the top 5 defensemen
13 forwards listed, so interesting to see where Poehling, DOC, Caggiula, and Zohorna play. Watch 3 be the 4th line and one be the healthy scratch. Big chance for Smith. |

Yea our defense is super close to the real deal. I'll be watching Smith/Rutta pairing. I'm also gonna watch Dumo as well. I think Poehling will center a line since Carter is out. Id really like to see Doc-Poe-Zoho. |

Hope I can find a good stream this evening....NHL66 doesnt seem to be up yet and everything I tried on sportsurge for the 2nd B Jackets game was a mess. I am trying to stream through the Edge browser on a Xbox Series X though........that wasnt an issue at all last season.....hmmm

Smith played 26 minutes in his first game and is included in the next game with basically all the starters. Looks like he’s getting the first extended look |
