Going to the Game vs the Jets tomorrow.
I figured they haven’t traded away as many draft picks as the Alberta teams.

Have fun, I went to a spruce kings silverbacks game the other night, nice to see hockey again.

Forgot Klimivich was even playing, Nielsen has some talent but is another Smurf so he might fit in. Bains definitely the best Canuck out there, has a real talent for the net.
Flames penalty kill should have had a couple but Silivos stood tall. Sloppy 3rd and Canucks jumped all over the Flames.

Carol what did you think of 6-8” Klapko? Thought he skated well for a big guy and should make an interesting main camp addition.

My first viewing of Klapka came as I was waiting to talk to a couple of Flames players after their practice. I saw right away that he was a lot bigger than everyone else, but I didn't realize he's Chara-sized until I saw him on the ice.

He definitely caused some havoc in front of the net early on last night, but the Canucks defenders stepped up and gave him less opportunity to get into Silovs' kitchen as the game went on.

My biggest takeaway last night was how quickly the Canucks started to look like a team. In both games, everything was sloppy and disjointed to start — understandable when teams have only one or two practices and a lot of guys barely know each other.

But the Canucks started making plays and playing for each other by the second period — and got rewarded in the third.

I'll write more on that in the next blog on Sunday...

I’m not really sure what kind of joke you are trying to make. He did die, he committed suicide. I though you millennials were all about protecting peoples feelings.

Good morning!

I'm back on schedule today, and the new blog is up. The win on Friday was nice, but it was *how* the Canucks won that impressed me.
