Dont forget Counnauton
- juiced

I can’t believe we brought Counnauton back. I can’t believe we jumped at Seeler before free agency as if this guy has options. I was in Detroit after the Giroux trade where we dress all 7 defenseman, including these two zeros. Only had three centers (Hayes, Brown Frost). I just remember thinking that this game was suppose to be pleasurable, I just didn’t know for who.

That ain't good. What is the deal with this kid? Is it another Alex Daigle type thing? All the skill in the world but just doesn't care? Or is there some other issue?

To start the season. I don’t think Andrae or Attard are even actually up for consideration. Zamula had gotten games before, I don’t think he’s as far out as you think.
- ClaudeFather

He is probably pretty close. But If he isn't in the top 6, I don't want him being the 7th. I would rather Seeler be the 7th and play in emergencies. Then you call up Zamula or Attard or whoever is ready in case of a multi game injury..and Seeler remains the 7th.

In the meantime Zamula, Attard, etc are getting 18-20 a night for the Phantoms if the top 6 remains healthy.

What I don't want, no matter what, is any of these kids sitting for any extended period of time.

He needs to play. Do you think they demote him to get him game action?

Doesn’t seem like he has much of a shot of even cracking the top 9.

Makes sense. If there is injury and he looks ready though, he should play. It’s not like they are asking him to play 20 minutes a night. Being on the bottom pair with a guy like Braun would be a great way to break into the NHL

For sure. I am just thinking in the practical sense. Like when they are on the road and a dman goes down and they need a guy to step in for a game. That would be Seeler. Then you fly in the Phantom for the next game and Seeler goes back to the Cote suite.

There could be plenty of reasons for not being able to call them up right away. Game start is too close and there isn't enough time for him to get there. They played 2 or 3 nights in a row and you don't want him playing that many games in consecutive nights, etc etc etc.

No room on the bottom pair as things stand today.
Probably not until the deadline.

Ideally, one of them wins a job outright and Braun is the 7th. It wont happen but still, that would be quite a development.
