it has nothing to do with RBC, ads are already displayed everywhere, and the habs don't need these additional ones on the jersey to survive financially.

It will be nearly impossible to see the ads when watching games on TV or in the stands. Quite sure jersey sales won't change since they won't have them ads on them.

3/ Sucks if you want a game-worn jersey, no options

4/ In the near future, I predict you will still be able to buy a jersey without ads, but my bet is that will be a special order and it will cost more.
