I felt the same way, I didn't want to risk getting Covid either. My in-laws are in their 80's.. I still worry about them.

Sorry to hear about your dad, I hope he'll be back to full health soon

- PatC80

Yeah. My dad is 71 so I was already trying to not get it and give it to him. Even moreso now.

Thanks, man. They're changing his poop now, since it's spreading faster than they thought. So his next round is gonna be 5 straight days.

It was anything but dead in the leaf blog comment section after that loss.....same with the outdoor game vs Buffalo.
- Cush29

My brother missed the Liljegren goal because the poopheads in front of us kept leaving and coming back to their seats the entire game.

Could've sworn there used to be a rule that you couldn't go back to your seats until a stoppage in play.

Werent they full capacity as of march 1st this past season?
- Fakepartofme

I don't remember when it opened up fully, but it will be nice to hopefully have a standard regular season from wire to wire.

100% and it used to be heavily enforced but for whatever reason it seems to have stopped and now it's a gongshow with morons blocking people's view during play - drives me nuts.

Yeah, that alone is reason enough for me to just not overly care about going to games on the regular.

Was partly about having to watch for flying pucks and now they have netting so less need. Plus they likely want less people rushing for drinks or something.

There still is that rule.

The problem is people leave their seats during play, or take too long to get back to their seats.

The last time I went to a game I didn't leave my seat the whole game and that was great.

It sure as poop wasn't enforced in my section, that's for sure.

Literally everyone coming and going as they pleased.

Only reason I left mine was to grab a pint. And it wasn't during play.

Yeah it's some expensive time to miss if you're out in the concourse during play. I suck back a bunch of food just before the game so I can chill as much as possible.

I usually grab some street meat and head in but this time me and my brother hit a restaurant up and grabbed a meal and a stein.

Wedgie’s Pro Tip:

At every stoppage in play, they will turn a red light on in the penalty box to indicate a TV timeout.

If you time it perfectly, you can go get a drink and be back by the next puck drop.

Damien Cox was on some of the same Strava segments as me today. It just startled me when I looked at it and saw his face. I was left shaken and deeply troubled.

Some normalcy will be nice. Rona numbers are falling worldwide. This thing has been awful and regular HNIC will be a treat.

I read today that they have found a way to not get sick from ALL Rona variants

the doctors who discovered have applied for the pattern right for it.
it needs to be peer review and testing on humans but it sound hopeful

I hated the Murray trade, but with 2 months to process it I’m beginning to have an optimistic outlook on it.
- bryant

I don't hate it. I do think they would have been in the same spot or even better between the pipes had they gone with another cheaper option to pair with Samsonov, and had the extra money to use up front.

Because they're still missing a winger for JT and Willie and I wouldn't exactly call the bottom six improved.

I can live with the goaltending as is but it's representative of some shortcomings elsewhere. But I'll happily eat my shorts if Murray hoists up his third cup. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yeah, a pan-corona vax, very exciting. That includes common colds too. The innovation spurred by the Covid effort may have a lot of useful applications.

I feel we're all on the fence on the Murray thing. Staying healthy is the key for him.

Dubas's job is mostly likely on the line here. But, how many times have we said that ?

Good pro tip, I take full advantage of this but I use the clock as well as the red light. TV time outs at the first whistle after 5,10 and 15 minutes of a period. Now that I've said this you all watch the clock to see if I'm right or not.
