We do mine through Sleeper.

Me and the other co-commish use a google doc to track salaries. all other trading and such is done through the app.

Its a lot of work for the commissioners.

We started on MFL, but that platform was awful and it cost money to use the site so we switched.

Exactly. A google excel spreadsheet and fantrax to monitor the salaries contracts and draft picks.

We use some random message board to bid on free agents

We have 2 buddies that monitor and keep track of both

I wonder why the ravens won’t sign lamar.

I completely get his game is almost a video game like gimmick. He’s not a great passer and they run the ball too much

But if you are actually the ravens. Why aren’t you paying him? I really am curious.

Not super high on the list of reasons but on the list nonetheless: his agent is his mom. That probably complicates things

Thanks for the girgensons goathead post:
Funny that he's been a Sabres fan prior to being drafted.

Probably falls under the "wanting to be here" category.

Any idea who the captains are gonna be ?

50 million seems like it comes with an 'A'

I kind of thought the main holdup was he wanted it fully guaranteed. Which no nfl team wants to do (Just browns).

I think Tuch gets Timber's "A" and agree on the other 2.

No reason to put added pressure on tall guy. Tuch is a natural. Just let Tage play the games. I don't see Dahlin as a real leader on this team myself, but you want an "A" on the backend and there aren't really any better ideas than Dahlin

The way lamar plays. I get that.

Allen is a big dude and plows over guys.

Lamar runs more and is way smaller of a guy

I would want the same. The way he plays is too much hero ball instead of trusting his guys

Elway sucks at drafting QBs. So they went with a sure thing. I’m fine with what they offered
- Sabretooth9

Elway hired George Paton last year and stepped away.

What George has done in 15 months is pretty outstanding.

If Ryan O'Reilly makes it to free agency, this board will explode when the Sabres sign him as a UFA.

He can play 2c behind Tage.

Amerks will be a fun follow again this year.

Rosen, Kulich, Kisakov, Cederqvist, Rousek, Pilut, and possibly Peterka as we do have a ton of NHL bodies

Will pilut be in Rochester?

Dahlin Sammy
Power bush
Joker Bryson pilut fitz

Am I missing someone? I think one of those last two spots could easily be pilut

I agree, but 50 million is a lot of cabbage.....

Timber can lead on the scoresheet, leave the leadership to kyle and gus.

I wouldn't rule out girgensons completely.
Probably be the alternate to the alternate, like the assistant to the regional manager. 🤔

Someone usually wears an "A" from the defense though.

Dahlin needs a letter I'm guessing?

I like your thoughts though 👍

Last i heard,
The Ravens are ready to do the deal whenever Lamar is
Seems that Lamar is dragging his feet for some reason

Give credit to Adams, it went from a possible light year for prospects in Rochester with some graduating to doing a decent job a filling the cupboards. If it wasn't for some of the junior rules there would be a few more to IMO

nfl owners have to put guarantee money in escrow when contract is signed

so how likely is the ravens owner willing to write a check today for 250 mil for a 5 year investment?

my guess is that is the hold up

Yea. The amount of trades and moves that are made on a weekly basis during the offseason makes it a very fun league.

It was mid July and McCAffery, DK Metcalk, Pat Mahomes, Diggs, Najee Harris, Kyler Murray, etc were being traded left and right for people to move salary around.

We have RFA auctions where if you lose a designated guy to another team you get a pick back, IR cap hits, buyout cap hits, release cap hits, etc etc.

If you have any questions on how we handle certain things, let me know and I can send you over some stuff.

- ImThatGuy

That would be for sure helpful, I'm pitching it to all the teams tonight to see how they feel bout it.
