I think it is naive to think they are satisfied with the couple of moves in the off season. Unless they are a carbon copy of the previous disastrous regime who constantly talked out of their ass.
I doubt that Curtis Lazar is the difference maker that makes them a playoff contender. - Marwood
You are right they are not satisfied and JR said so on improving the D.
Though isn’t it better making a full assessment in season? See how the Russians do and if Dermont and Rathbone fit in.
Maybe so. Injuries always stir up needs for contending teams.
But something tells me from the reporting the Canucks want to see how a full team performs. Like JTM alluded they are still assessing to form their vision. - Quinn's Quest
Pretty much yes. Focus is on camp & season so opener. Biz in the background.
I read a tweet from Dhaliwal were he is trying to sensationalize the situation by inferring that Millers agent will break off all talks once training camp opens, seize back leverage as Dhaliwal puts it. - Makita
RD just reported there has been no agent/management discussions since the draft... so none in the summer, none during the upcoming season... those are pretty wild claims. There must be some discussions. If not... well it looks like Miller's camp has already made its mind up... but this is Rick D so probably completely backwards.

Me neither. TSN must be feeling it. Combo of summertime no one cares & Canada caring for all the wrong reasons. - Sayros
In combination with the sour air around Hockey Canada right now, summer months with excellent weather here, plus it's a tough go for many at those ticket prices. Folks have better things to do than sit in a rink an watch overpriced summer Hockey with kids playing lol...
I'm sure if it was Boxing week many of those games would be close to sold out. Is what it is.
