Again, if that was true, the poster wouldn't be saying the very next day that the re-signing didn't make sense for that reason. He would know that the team could add in the future.

Again, the "didn't make sense" (his actual words were "seems a waste") part may just have elided the "for now".

How much progress have you made with that original post? Can we see a draft?

No you're again incorrect. His actual words were not "seems a waste"

Oh good catch! It was instead "is a waste".

You would think someone who wants to correct others in grammar wouldn't make a mistake like that

In as much as this has utterly nothing to do with grammar, and was clearly inadvertent, as opposed to the consistent (thus not inadvertent) misspelling of complementary as complimentary, the "you" referred to earlier would be the one with concrete masquerading as cerebellum, and so yes, I would agree, that that "you" would indeed think as you posted.

No at all surprised that you would not grant the same excuse of inadvertent that you grant yourself, to someone else. Also not surprising that someone such as yourself, who claims superior intelligence, can't understand a simple sentence and how the mistake noted was not described as a grammar issue but rather just a mistake. In other words, since you're not perfect yourself, why quibble over the irrelevant? That's just you though. When outclassed or outmaneuvered. You then move to personal insults or irrelevant mistakes.

Because, Concrete Cranium, the use of the word consistent (used for the second time here) rules out inadvertent.

Did we come up with a post to justify your existence here yet? I can help if you provide a draft here.

With each post, you prove your lack of intelligence. Your application of adding the word consistent does not make a mistake not inadvertent. Does not rule out that a misspelling of a word, regardless of how many times done is unintentional. Your arrogance thinks that it does along with thinking you have any say in whose existence is justified on here.

You know, I'm humoring you here as you degrade another conversation away from the actual context and into personal insults. I can picture the smoke coming out of your ears. It's just so much fun laughing at you while it's ongoing.

A mistake is by definition random. The more consistent is the mistake, the more the needle veers towards the misspelling end of the spectrum.

Read this a few times, because it will sail over your head. (Like pretty much everything).

Or better still, set your computer date to 2023. It generally takes you a year to realize simple truths. For a man with your intellectual abilities, this might work.

Later, honeybuns. Work calls.

A repeated mistake does not mean it is not unintentional. Seems as though you struggle with that basic logic. You also struggle with the self realization that you have turned the discussion into a debate on a misspelled word. It's really sad on your part. Being insulted by you is a badge of honor. It's similar to another group of people who struggle to deal with those who think differently than they do.

From the code of conduct.

Do not correct the spelling and grammar of other posters. Their errors may make you question how much credence to give their opinions, that’s up to you, but correcting their lapses is rude and trollish.

This along with your propensity for believing that you are the sole arbiter of deciding if a word is used correctly as well and focusing on irrelevant issues such as words not spelled correctly when a debate does not go your way, is petty and childish. Not to mention embarrassing for you. It's a direct indication of low self esteem.
