Pretty sure Hunter was showing designs to Trudeau and Chavez, then they got Hilary's deep state agents to stash them at Trump's house to frame him. But Giuliani is gonna blow the lid off it all. Press conference later today at the pillow factory.

Every year this series of blogs is so terrible. Great scouting report. I’m glad I know where these players played last year and how many points they had. Great scouting reports. Great insight on the players skill set and where they might fit in an nhl line up in the future. Maybe do 15 prospects but do a real write up.

Classified nuclear documents and signal information will look great framed in the resort dining area when foreign VIPs visit. They'll say so many nice things!

There is no real 'write up'.

I wonder if you can get some team near the floor to retain half of Kerfoots cap hit since they would only be taking 350K of actual money back, making Kerfoots cap hit at 1.75M and even more valuable on the trade market.

Kinda surprised the trolls haven't criticized Dubas for getting rid of Mrazek so quickly - if he had held on to him longer, we could have traded him to Vegas for several first round picks.

To: PIT - Kerfoot + Holl + Abruzzese

almost exact salary cap money, but maybe a change of scenery helps everyone

for the Leafs - always good to trade Holl, and maybe Zucker has a better year
than Kerfoot....meh on Abruzzese

every player is a UFA in 2023 except Ruhwedel (UFA in 2024)

If PITT doesn't want Abuzzese (they would get plus cap room money in the deal then....maybe PIT throws in a late rd. 2023 or 2024 pick

I think the point of a Kerfoot/Holl trade is for it NOT to be exact salary cap money

Exactly.. that is why like a Stolli the goalie trade with a pick for Holl
and Kerfoot would help both Ducks and Leafers...

We get a nice piece and you get a nice goalie with cap room and a pick...

It's sort of a zany list. I will say that the Leafs have a large amount of NHL-plausible depth, but not necessarily a lot of jaw dropping skill in the system.

Guys that I wouldn't consider prospects, but are potential players in the pipeline: Anderson, Malgin, Kallgren, Holmberg, Abruzzese . . . basically were you to consider only players under the age of 23 who are still on their first contract that had a reasonable shot at playing in the NHL in some capacity, I'd probably guesstimate we have these guys in the system:

Knies, Niemela, Robertson, Hirvonen, Minten, Voit, Woll, Miettinen, Steeves, Hildeby, Tverberg, Kral, Moldenhauer, Villeneueve

That's 14 guys. Some of them are even longer shots than others (like that list isn't really in any real specific order, but I think the names after Hildeby are more toss-ups). I'd say that I didn't include Akhtyamov or Amirov - the former because I just don't know anything about him other than he hasn't had a demonstrable statistical jump in his performance, and the latter because of his obvious health issues.
