That poop is expensive. Also, dont mess with the 25 years of musk you have been working on in the corners of that bag!

My gloves were signed by Bill Guerin when he was on the Bruins... Still use them. An upgrade is due.

Still functioning but the palms are very much in dismay. They have definitely gotten worse in the last year.

Another kick at the can or another year slower and tired?

Boston had a good run with these guys, but just like the penguins; the question must be asked, when do you turn the page? Fans love the glory days, but this group ain’t getting it done

- halo63

Not getting it done? Care to elaborate?
This forward group is better than last years by a mile with Krejci coming back to a #2 center role with Hall and Pasta. The top 9 could be argued as good as any in the league. They took a very good Carolina team to 7 last year. This group can get on a roll and win in the playoffs, or they can get bounced. Its kind of a crapshoot. But not many teams will be able to knock off Colorado most likely.

Ugh off season sucks. Not enough going on in the hockey world. I did watch Lysell score his disgusting goal for Sweden the other day. Had to shower after.

Here is an interesting thing we can do for fun. A little game of over/under, see what you guys think:

Pasta extension: Over/under 10.5m

Krejci points: Over/under 50

Zacha points: Over/under career best of 36

Overall record before McAvoy and Marchand return: Over/under .500

Fabian Lysell games played: Over/under 9 (burning a year of the ELC)

Swayman starts: Over/under/even 42 (does he play more than half the games?)

This was harder than I thought. Depends how the top 6 shapes out to begin the season.

Pasta under. He’s made comments that he doesn’t play hockey for money. Very recently

Krejci is over if playing with Pasta. Under if not.

Zacha is under if he’s on the third line.

Over 500

Lysell. My heart says over but probably under.

Swayman. Push

I tried to make it a little interesting because there are a lot of beginning of season factors to contend with.

A new coach with potential new lines all over is a big wild card.

Pasta extension: Over/under 10.5m. Under. Based on Boston's track record of somehow keeping guys on friendlier deals. Maybe between 8-9

Krejci points: Over/under 50 Over. Thinking 60-ish

Zacha points: Over/under career best of 36 Under. (I hope I'm wrong)

Overall record before McAvoy and Marchand return: Over/under .500 A tick under 500. Those 2 players are massive loses.

Fabian Lysell games played: Over/under 9 (burning a year of the ELC) Under. Zero games. The kid looks 170 lbs only after a pizza and case of beer. 1 more season for development. Do it right.

Swayman starts: Over/under/even 42 (does he play more than half the games?)

Wow man, thats some optimism on the pasta deal. I hope you're right but my gut tells me he is gonna be over 10.5.

But maybe he will do what Marchand did on his last deal. Give them a total number he wants to earn like 70-75m and let the bruins decide over what term he gets it. Secretly hoping for less than 10.

Wouldn't be surprised to see an exact match of McAvoy's contract...pay your most valuable forward (can have arguements about that) and your best d-man exactly the same.

Kind of hoping he goes the Crosby route.

8 years with a cap hit of 8.8. Front load the money.

He’ll probably be around Mcavoy though

I'm hoping. Just kind of going on the track record of guys like McAvoy, Bergeron and Marchand taking more reasonable deals to keep a competitive team on the ice.
