A PK Subban Return to Montreal? There is no player who has ever loved playing for a team than PK did for the Montreal Canadiens. Has high cap hit has outpaced performance for the past few years to be sure, but at a league min, he could really be the kind of player the Habs could use.

Unless he does bring back that offensive instinct he had before, there's no place for him as a RHD. As an analyst maybe?

Teams in need of a slew-footer, grab him now. The market almost dried up when Malkin re-signed.

Must be the Lindsay Vonn effect as he was having so much fun with her before he got dumped

Once Subban got big bucks and a celebrity girlfriend...his priorities shifted away from staying in shape and improving his skills. Instead, his focus became spending money, hanging out with celebs, lining up fashion shoots. He'll be broke 5-10 years after retirement.

I’d love to see him come back…just to watch heads explode. The media frenzy alone would be worth it and act as a major distraction from how bad the Habs will be again this year.

He should be in AHL or calling a game somewhere. But we know he’ll hang on a little longer than he should. He played his ambassador card perfectly and was able to parlay that minimal image based relevance to a desired demographic into some staying power in league circles. The new “good old boys” club. Always funny to see self-righteous groups act the same as the groups they despise that came before them. Gotta keep the content coming for the mob, lest they cancel you for not being woke enough.
