I would prefer to keep Laf on the left wing this year. Perhaps, a move to the right side is possible after he’s become a more round confident player. He made great strides late in the season, hope he build on that. Hopefully, he has worked on his skating this summer.
Really like Blias, he’s the type of player every team needs, same with Goodrow, a pros pro.

It has to be a a cheap option- so hopefully Blais and Goody can step up and fill in on a top 6 role until we find the right fit since they are both more valuable in the bottom 6.

Personally, I think its about time we gave our #1 pick the chance to play LW on Ziba's line. It doesnt have to be ALL the time, but he should definitely get a few shifts there every single game.
Id love to see a line of Cuylle, Goodrow, Blais for the 4th line.
he is a ridiculous walrus - who will play just good enough to block mins away from getting real success at the position. - Greschnergy#4
Who is he blocking exactly? Kakko still hasnt signed and proved anything. Who knows what will happen with Kravtsov... aaaaand thats all of our RW's who actually play that position.

The rangers have to keep kakko and Laf in the top 6 for the entire year next season. Its the only way they will see if they are legit or not. The kid line is awesome, but GG would play them 13 minutes a night. Not really effective for them

to be fair GG didn't really have both Chytil and Kakko 100% healthy at the same time very often last year

The Flames will own two emerging players with a solid leader and potential.
To Rangers:
MT and seventh
This frees up salary space as well as defense. This also opens up Captain slot to someone who would not have to compete with CK being here lover than others.
Long term: MT signs and Will and BO are able to slot in, along with Matt R on defense. The following year look to trade Jacob T and allow Nils to slot in. Loss is less than gain.
