It was just so dumb of them to draft Knight right after. They could’ve had Caufield Newhook Krebs etc. Maybe in 2 years when it becomes a modified NTC and the cap goes up a bit they can unload him, but for right now they’re stuck with him. |

Winning the 2nd overall pick in that draft may have been the worst thing to ever happen to us. |

Eh, I still think Kakko ends up being a good player. Some of the guys drafted after him are looking good though, Cozens Seider (although I’m not sure anyone else besides DET takes him 6th), Zegras Boldy etc |

Which is crazy about Seider because hes looking like a future Norris trophy winner, the guy is an absolute monster.
Drafting Zegras would have changed everything for us at the center position. |

20/20 hindsight- its early yet. Zegras would have been nice. “Worst thing to ever happen” is a reach tho. |

They are actively looking to move bob. They’ll probably have to eat salary or throw in picks - nyrangers2
If Carey Price can't play again for medical reasons, maybe Bob can be swapped to MTL for that contract/+ and FLA places Price on LTIR. Otherwise, FLA might have to beg a cap-floor team to take Bob with salary retained and a prospect or two. |

Again, Bob has a full NMC so he would have to agree to waive it first, which he would never do. |

That depends on the options the GM gives him. NMC is only as ironclad as the start vs. sit options the team gives him. |

Well, lets see... hes gonna be 34 in September. Living in Miami, wouldnt be surprised if its in Sunny Isles, making 10m a year.
I dont think he would care if he played again. Whats the point in waiving your NMC to go, and likely get peppered game in and out, playing some bottom feeding team with a lot of cap space? |
