Fletcher should’ve been fired immediately after saying he didn’t even attempt anything w/ gudreau cause it woulda been hard to move contracts. That’s beyond pathetic, especially when philly was thought to be a potential spot for him. Maybe he knew it just wasn’t gonna happen, but still was a bad look for an already bad looking gm.

There are a few GM you can point out for just being terrible. Making terrible moves, getting fleeced all the time, etc... Fletcher is bad in different way. I feel like he COULD be a good GM, but he can't decide what he wants to do. It's like every day he wakes up thinking, "We just need to retool" and the next "We need to rebuild!," and then of course "We can totally be a playoff team."

He still makes some terrible deals, but it's more that what he chooses to do just makes no sense.

I think if Zucker is only on pace for 15G he'll be traded before the deadline. I do like the other 2 predictions though!

Jokes aside, I think a 15G/25A season would be solid in a supporting role to Geno and Rak.

That's the thing. With Hextall, it was frustrating, but he had a plan. Fletcher just has no plan, and may as well just be throwing darts. He's set the team back at least 5 years if not more.
