I could see Reaves get traded early in the season, IF AND ONLY IF, Cuylle made the team. Otherwise he isn’t going anywhere.

I definitely don’t think they planned on him playing so many games last year, but Kravtsov bailed and Blais got hurt, thus thrusting him into the lineup and more of a regular role. Imo he was brought in for dressing in certain spots of the schedule, more of a black ace

No, with Caufield I haven’t seen enough to say if he’s good or not. St Louis could be exactly what he needs to become a good NHLer for a long time, but anyone that said he was good prior to St Louis is kidding themselves. He was terrible and sent down to the AHL and guys were still saying he was good.

I just don’t see it with him. He looked small on the ice, and although I know he’s not big and that’s not his game, Zac Jones looked bigger and he’s smaller than Nils. It’s not like he lit it up offensively either, in Hartford he struggled also. If we can flip him for a 2nd round pick I’d be happy to move on.
