I actually wanted Ristolainen prior to trading for him. Nobody can defend the cost it took to get him. That’s a bad trade and I have no doubt Buffalo after the was made saw Fletcher as a sucker. Same with Nashville.

I don’t always agree with you but you’ve been consistent on the disagreement of firing hextall and changing course. You and I see it the same way on this.

The day hextall was fired I was surprised and very worried about the future Of the franchise. I didn’t think it was go time either, but Then I said give chuck a chance. In 2019 20. I happily said I think maybe I was wrong. The trades he made looked good.

Then disaster. 2 years of crap and now a disjointed offseason whereby they say one thing and do another. Even if hextall wasn’t the guy, it’s clear to me that chuck certainly isn’t and that the path he’s taken has set us back immensely. I hate seeing my favourite sports team in this state.
