They could care less if 1 person is in those seats. I know you think you know business. You don’t. I’ll tell you what they care about. Money. If they sell season tickets and no one shows up guess what. They don’t care. If they sell license deals to corp and make tons of money they don’t care who shows up.
The bottom line is profits. Comcast owning the flyers still makes profits. And it’s not from just people in stands. Yes that helps. Flyers for now still make them money in the long run. - Stayin alive
You seriously crack me up. Exposing yourself on a daily basis. So they don't care about the parking revenue. The revenue made at the bar. Selling merchandise and the food venues?
Somehow you have separated ticket sales and the tickets actually being used.

Definitely! Problem is they put Fletcher in a place with no one left above him to keep him in check. Yes, there's Dave Scott, but Scott has repeatedly vouched for him, which should be alarming to most people, but not really surprising given Scott is not a hockey guy. - Flyerfan2868

Cue the new rough and tumble campaign. Look at the draft picks. Size size size
Sign nd/Braun.
Cue the going back to roots commercials.
Starts with pic of clarke
Then some video clips of the bullies.
Pics and vid of the picks and nd risto throwing some hits.
The occasional goal goal going in clips
End with some thunderous drawn out bass music note with 5 second still pic of clarke. - Stayin alive
Don’t forget Torts yelling. People eat that up. |

He's a boxer named Rocky coming to Philadelphia. #destiny - Tomahawk
Seems this is going to be a dog and pony show to cover up for a thin and weak product on the ice. I am sure Tortorella will contribute with his wrestling antics at his pressers if it's get to ugly. |

What cracks me up is you actual lack of knowledge while thinking you know. Let me try to waste my time surely showing you even tho I know you are too obtuse or capable of understanding
YES PEOPLE IN STAND GENERATE MONEY.
YES PARKING AND CONCESSIONS GENERATE MONEY
DO YOU KNOW WHAT % of the concessions is kicked to flyers coffins? What about parking? What about merch in arena?
What do you think Comcast would do if little or less fans in seats like last year?
Lose money?
In business yea they would lose some temporarily but you don’t get as big as Comcast by being stupid. They will make it elsewhere regarding flyers.
If you’d like to fully understand looks at books when flyers selling out every home game YET basically breaking even. Maybe some years a small profit and some years a small loss.
Go ahead and research it. I’m not doing the work for you.
Now go look at leafs.
How come profits so high for some teams yet philly not even if stands full?
Comcast (frank)ing makes more on gritty marketing campaign than actual team on ice.
Corp money is different. Once the well dries up from team sucking and all the corp money goes out on such poop team they’ll sell. Nature of the beast.
Comcast has shown through actions they don’t give a flying (frank) about fans in the stands or product on the ice.
Actions speak louder than words. They’ll come up with money making campaign for a little while longer.
Flyers are laughingstock now. But that still drive revenue. They will worry when they become so bad and irrelevant that they are a complete afterthought across the board.
Bad publicity is good publicity.
I wouldn’t expect you to understand any of that. |

You don't know anything.
You're the guy who pretended to have a direct contact to Gaudreau's wife. You're the guy who said it was a done deal. Even after the GM said they were done an were out on Gaudreau. Kept saying they're just waiting for the Flyers to create space and then showed to have no clue on how the cap works. You're the guy who said take it to the casino, it's a done deal. That is who you are. Zero credibility.
Can't even understand basic business.

Oh Jesus Christ
The Flyers have always been a cash cow whether it’s a season ticket holding buying up every home game or some random just popping by for a single game. I’m pretty sure asses not being in the seats wouldn’t sit well. |

How does their cap space/situation look for 2023 off season?
Off top of my head only JVR and Sanheim come off. |

And if people don't watch, then ad revenues ultimately decrease. Add all that together, and it's money. Comcast would, ultimately, notice if nobody showed up and nobody watched. Or even if attendance and viewership dropped by 20%.

Yep👍🏻And you are the guy who’s opinion is fact. The biggest bumhole to ever grace this site. It is what it is. Defender of Risto trade and Ellis move. Now against it. We know. We know. But doesn’t say he was defender of cf and team for longest time yet critiques those that still do because opinion has changed. We know. Your credibility is at zero.
If you want to knock my credibility for stated what I clearly said I was told then my credibility was right on cc to Ottawa. 50/50 1/2. Still better than you. Suck on those numbers |

I don’t count the low amount contracts to an extent as they will be replaced by similar salaried players.
Really not much coming off it seems. So same spot a year from now? |

Yep they’ll notice.
Surely they have noticed
And they reacted
And yet look at what’s been done
Like I said until it hits critical mass it’ll be status quo.
They’ll market it and make money.
Until like you said the revenue dries up to point to sell.
Unfortunately they are nowhere near that point.
They care more about outside money than fans money.
Fans money is a very small slice of the pie.
Think of it this way…. During political virus bs and no fans and lost revenue how much did they lose? Here let me look of flyers financials and do some research. I bet it’s not much. Which would prove my point to a tee |

Basically. I’d look to move TK in favor of one of these wing prospects we’re supposed to have to free up some space to keep Sanhiem. Zamula hopefully stepping up too so they don’t have to overpay a guy like Braun or worse, a cooked guy like Yandle again. |

Average of 20-25% of gate revenues are attributed to the team's cut of food, beverage, on-site merch sales and parking.
Gate revenues on average account for 35-40% of total team revenues.
If half the arena are paid no-shows, they'll most definitely feel it. |
