I have to say that while I like Reaves a lot I would much rather have Motte.

Strome didn't play with Frank Vatrano. Anyone can play with Frankie, though. Guy shoots first, asks questions later.

Same. Motte makes an impact every shift. Reaves is a presence but plays really sheltered minutes effecting the whole lineup.

Any chance they bury Reaves in the minors? Would remove over a mil of his hit it looks like.

Why? I know the playoffs are our most recent reference point, but he was an extremely effective player during the regular season and the team seemed to play a lot bigger with his presence in the line up.

Hopefully Rhydal ends up being as big of a wiener as he's made out to be and that can eventually allow Reaves to be out of the line up more but we need someone other than Trouba to fight battles.

Love Reaves but he doesn’t do anything well anymore. Can’t skate, defend or provide offense. Good for the locker room and rival games. Bringing in carpenter now mean Reaves is just a part time player
