I have to agree with you but we are not all delusional, Explain to me what makes Campbell a 5 million dollar goalie. Experience? No.... Statistics? No..... You could argue the Leafs are better off this Season with 2 NHL caliber goalies rather then Campbell & Kallgren who combined don't have as much experience as either who replaced them. Nobody knows how Murray will respond in Toronto. It ain't the Lowly Sens that's gonna be in front of him. Oilers fans are expecting Vezina caliper tending from Campbell, your all gonna be disappointed, He is very streaky and very easily emotionally rattled but hey he's a great guy which is why many leaf fans have some kind of stupid attachment to him. If being a good guy and personality can win you games then hey enjoy your 5 x 5

Not all Leaf fans are delusional. Campbell is better than what we had but I'm not sold on him as the answer. I am hoping Skinner develops into a capable number one goalie but we still have question marks in net.

I think there are only a small handful of goalies who could be considered elite Vezina caliber goalies and a bunch of tier 2 starters. There are 32 teams in the league and maybe 6 elite goalies.
