I view the tage line like the satan line in the 90's
it's the only line the other team had to stop, and they could not do it - homiedclown
The drury and Briere Sabres didn’t beat you with star power, they gave you death by depth. Every line was good, no true #1 center |

Let's not forget Briere had 95 points in '06-'07. Not sure the Sabres have that guy now |

Went to Dev camp today. Peterka has swagger. He's so good, and he knows it. Other teams are going to hate him. No doubt in my mind he's in the lineup on opening night. |

Donny will roll out the kids... but there's not an elite forward on this team currently. Eichel had that talent. The current guys have aspects of him (Krebs: vision, Cozens: speed, TT: shot) but no one has the total package.
And that's not a death sentence. They need a total committee though and they need these pieces to keep improving. The margin of error on a team without an elite talent is smaller |

I understand what you're going for here, but that third line makes me want to give myself a thousand paper cuts and bathe in habanero sauce.
Not a dig at you, cause I haven't been able to figure a way out of having one line in the top 9 be an absolute defensive nightmare either. Really hoping for at least one deal up front.
Edit: I imagine Asplund gets a spot there but the first line isnt so hot either. |

Until you trust one of those lines defensively, you know you're getting a healthy dose of LOG.
Do you re-sign LOG next offseason, or is it finally time to move on?

Kulich, he's farther ahead physically than the other guys his age. He's super confident, you could just tell. He didn't have any jitters about it being his first dev camp practice. |

great question. you don't have a 1 C. Maybe you trade 9 and 16 but I doubt it. I think they have a lot more confidence in Tage than we do. Even after his season. - TheSabresTaco
I'm more curious if without Tage having a big break out, it would've accelerated them making a decision or two on young players now instead of waiting another season. |

I think if r2d2 stays
in 12 months the 4th line is vinny, asplund, r2d2 |

Np, I felt the opposite about Rosen. He's got a lot of growing to do. Very timid out there. |

This might be the most depth we’ve had on the back end in over a decade.
Would like another top 4 type to add to the top end of the depth chart but Rochester is going to have a ton of firepower |

right now it's him or asplund for the 13 spot
assuming bjork is on waivers |

I mean it is possible with the improvements the teams made around us that we end the year staring at a possible top 5 pick in a draft beaming with star talent.
Savoie also will probably be one and done in the WHL and will be a lot of fun in the top 6 when he is going |

I think a lot higher of Asplund. I think he's a lock in lineup.
I'd prefer him in the top 3 lines. |
