Glad you're happy. I am too.

Duclair was an extremely team-friendly deal in Fla. It was never going to happen here, but it was a fun one to tease you with.

I think we wrapped this up with a very positive interaction.

Ref probably won't notice 👀

Nope with the Olofsson signing $4.5 million, Comrie $1.8 and the Lub signing $2.75 million

That is $9.05 million they're just above $62 million

Bossyman ripped me a new bumhole for suggesting 3 x $4.75m about a month ago, lol.
Funny poop...he thought it was gonna be 7 x$6m.

- IonSabres

I was joking about the .25 million that was always your issue , (with the girgensons deal).

Went over your head then and again.
Pretty tall joke to go over your head ☝️

5 years x 5 or 5.5 million was always my prediction.

It's just banter with us and doesn't get personal. I've never been mad and I don't think you have either. Guessing stripes knows that.

VO is signed, Tokarski is gone. Next chapter.

Tampa continue to put on a master class in building empires

- Don't sign stupid FA contracts
- Grow through draft and development
- Build chemistry so that people want to stay on team-friendly deals
- Sign the young guys, let people walk when they age out

No, the opposite. Everything they do they do with the cap in mind. They now have all of their core locked up to (mostly) team-friendly deals. It they had kicked the can down the road they would be selling today like so many others are.

Tampa has continuously bend the rules for cap, and had stupidly friendly team contracts. Sergachev makes more than Hedman. Hedman didnt sign that long ago.

Yeah, no. Good teams dont worry about the cap. They will make it work. And when they cant, the NHL will come up with compliance buyouts.
