If you think about it, yes he’s 31, but he can easily play all over the lineup, can play the Okposo leadership role in two years when Okposo hangs them up, has won cups, can help the kids become real pros.

Okposo and Tuch can’t do it all by themselves.

I still want to see consistent game-changing first-overall talent without bad gaffes which I haven't seen yet. If he takes that step, the Sabres are in a good place

I realize that but a lot of posters were high on little Johnny and thought he was a good fit in Buffalo. He's a waste of money very similar to Skinner. Neither will be on a Stanley Cup team. On the other hand Kadri would be a good signing if he would be willing to come to Buffalo.

Man, it hurts when the stool is on the other foot.


It's hard for me to imagine Tage being considered a top-15 center in the NHL. God love him if he gets there. I think they're setting up this team to be deep but there's not really much elite talent here. It's an exercise in building a team around good-but-not-great players
