His picks were really about average. They have been hurt a bit by the fact the organization is such a disgrace that players like Portillo and Johnson are avoiding signing.

Also, he traded far too many away, so that was on him.

Bryson is a good late pick but Samuelson can be a top pair D

Cozens was expected to go where he did if not earlier, but Zegras going right after gives the edge to Samuelson

Let's be fair to KA. He has a directive to keep payroll near the floor and develop picks. He's making good hockey decisions within a very limited framework.

If it was up to him he would have added a top pairing D last year.

Adams tipped his hand pretty good during his conference today. Said he called UPL after signing Comrie. Told him they still have faith in him but they aren’t going to rush him.

UPL will get games but until Anderson gets hurt or Comrie can’t hang, UPL starts in Rochester.

Anderson is 41. Relying on him for anything more than 15-20 games is ridiculous. Comrie started 19 games.

UPL had the best stats of any Sabres goalie last year and better stats than anyone else they are going to get. That's without any progress.

UPL will start the season as the 1A/1B with Comrie and be the sole starter by January if he can hack it.

great question. you don't have a 1 C. Maybe you trade 9 and 16 but I doubt it. I think they have a lot more confidence in Tage than we do. Even after his season.
