We shouldn't expect a great return and will have to take back a bad contract or two especially if no Jones salary is retained. Stars would probably like to get out from under those Benn and Seguin contracts, but they have NMC's.

I’m not expecting QOs for Strome and Kubalik, although I think KD should bring at least 1 back. With ADB gone Kubalik could fill the goal-scoring role, not quite as good but that’s the plan.

Many of the posters who would celebrate a Seth Jones trade would be among the 1st here posting about how they ruined Prospects A & B by throwing them in the deep end of the pool before they were ready.

Didn't buy the news they were trading Cat and Dach, so no reason not to believe the Blackhawks will let Strome and Kubalik walk.

Having a competent NHL coach to start the season will be an X factor for sure. Can Richardson get more about of these guys than JC or King?

I’m convinced KD is trying to make sure the team bottoms out to guarantee him of a top three pick next year. Hopefully for him it doesn’t blow up in his face and have the team over perform next season making it more difficult to get a top player.
