I think this is pretty good for the Sens. Sens are on the hook for $1.55m and Leafs take on $4.7 of the cap hit. May turn out to be good deal for both teams.

Ok Sens fans, after having the Murray trade pieces on Twitter first tonight, at 759pm before any news outlet....I can tell you, I will have huge news regarding the Sens and the Yotes tonight!

I think this is pretty good for the Sens. Sens are on the hook for $1.55m and Leafs take on $4.7 of the cap hit. May turn out to be good deal for both teams.

On its face, I think this appears to be a rare Win / Win trade. All of the the risk is on the Leafs. The only downside for the Sens is for the potential Murray haunting this season.

Holy smokes. That's a home run for Dorion. hats off.

I am by no means his biggest fan, but there are a lot of haters on this forum that need to give PD his due. He has done well the last few days.

Didn’t give up a 1st or a 2nd..the picks don’t mean as much when the team is tryna compete.

I’m so impressed with PD the last two moves. Obviously signing Murray and putting yourself in that hole was a mistake, but you look at how the leafs had to pay a 1st to get rid of Marleau, a 1st to get rid of Mrazek..PD did pretty well here.

Let’s see what he does with that money now.

Nothing close yet, on Murray.....too many other moving pieces and add in the Samsonov aspect today, all of a sudden the Leafs should go after him and pass on Murray. If Ottawa has to retain anything more than 25% they should just buy him out, but they have until Noon July 13th, less than 48 hours!

Ok Sens fans.....Ottawa has proposed to the Yotes to send unprotected 1st round pick in 2023, JBD, Sokolov & Connor Brown to AZ for Jakob Chychrun. As many of you know on here, I'm very tight with those in upper management in the desert.

But PD is trying to unload Zaitsev as part of the deal....AZ wants a 2nd round pick in 2023 if they add Nikita to the deal. More to come....PD wants this done in the next 24 hours or they will focus on Marino or Weegar!

All that was reported yesterday and earlier to day that the deal was close....no parameters....I tweeted out info on it earlier tonight. He should of though....he was in the drivers seat as he knew the Leafs were out of options! He held onto the 1st and 2nd rounder for other moves! Check out what I posted on AZ!
