Now when you go off on all the "atrocious" contracts are you actually comparing to other NHL players OR do you just not like the production?
Every team has bad contracts. That is a product of being involved in free agency. The Bruins barely have any back breaking contracts.
The Hall contract was below market value and short term.
The Foligno contract sucks but it was also only two years.
The main contract I question was the immediate 8 year deal for Lindholm. Could be questionable if he can't stay healthy.

Hall at $6M for his production on 2nd line is fine IMO.
On the other hand...
Ulmark at $5M for 4 years
Coyle at $5.25M
are both bad and crippling Bruins flexibility to improve
And then there's Foligno contract - dead cap-space.
