This is what I know -
Things are pretty quiet. There’s been back & forth talks on an extension; an offer is on the table. Canucks want to know one way or another what Miller is thinking likely before the Draft. Meanwhile the market for JT may not as high as VAN is hoping.

- manvanfan

he also tweeted after guessing that they take the best offer available tomorrow

Amazing that some think a ref doesn't have an opinion, or isn't allowed to throw a jab every now and then.
- Reubenkincade

It's funny who it comes from, too.

In wake of Fedotov and Kaprizov news, I asked the Canucks whether they have any concerns at the moment about Vasily Podkolzin and Andrei Kuzmenko being able to return to North America from Russia.

Spokesperson tells me: "all good as far as we know."

- manvanfan

They need to do a reverse "Spies Like Us" and take the Dushanbe road backwards and sneak the (frank) out of Russia.

Canucks and Miller’s camp are gonna work the media and their people for the next 24-hours here at the draft. Lots of stuff between now and then will come out. In the end I think he gets dealt tomorrow. They’ll take their *best* offer. Not like they’ve had many in last 48 hours.

Sorry, I was thinking something else I see what you mean near the bottom

Right?

Now if a ref insults you, and you insult them back (tastefully of course) and you get banned because of it, then (frank) that guy.

Here are some contributions Donnie and Neemer female dog about.
Miller to NJ for Bratt and their 2023 first rounder. Or Alex Holtz and the 2nd OA.
Miller to Caps for Iorio and 20th OA.
Miller to Rangers for Schneider and 63rd OA.
Miller to Carolina for Necas and 60th OA.

- Makita

Either NJ trade would be fantastic…the holtz one seems unrealistic.caps one is bad. Rangers one would be a dream. Not sure I would target Necas. (frank) the rangers. Let’s hope NJ is interested

Why is this different from all other insiders saying there is tons of interest? Is this Gaffar fellow more in the know or more like EK?

I'd go with a lot of reading between the lines.

Interest is high, many teams would like him. Asking price is high but not many teams can pay that price. Less teams are willing to pay that price.

There are other teams that are most likely offering good value but not the pieces Van is asking for.

Meaning that he could be traded and Van will take their best offer even if it's not exactly what they want but still good value for Miller.
