First shot Fleury
Five hole Fleury
Four goal Fleury
Judging by Pens blog comments
Hard pass - mr.sir
Yeah I wouldn't judge a player by what fans of his ex team says. |

If the Leafs traded Bill Ny, what do you think a return would look like?
Just wondering and want to compare what fans of other teams think their guys are worth.
Like, Chicago fans seem to think DeBrincat is worth multiple 1sts and a top prospect. - GreatGigInTheSky
If Giroux was willing to sign here for like 3x6M I would highly consider trading Nylander.
I think Nylander is worth number 2 from NJ. Or at least close to it where you do not have to add much. |

Just to get some reactions, CC predictions
Holl, Kerfoot traded. Mrazek traded or bought out. Agreed
Mik, Campbell, and one of Engvall/Kase not back. Agreed, unless Kase comes cheap
Boosh only back if Sandin or Muzzin gone. I think someone other than Boosh
Fluery/Comrie new goalies I'm going with Fluery/Samsonov
New Boosh signed (no idea, Psyk?) Ya, some vet
New forwards - Colin White as 4C (has Kampf defensive #s), Helm, Evan Rodrigues, a few Marlies, a tradeI'm guessing Helm, Gagner, and T. Lewis. - Canada Cup |

I think Boqvist was a lot more then 10 picks in front of Sandin, he was top 10.🤔 - joel878
Ya, sorry shoulda stuck a + after the 10. Wasn't intending to be literal. |

Because it rarely occurs - Fakepartofme
Well that settles that. Unless of course another GM thinks that he’s worth a second plus something more than Dubas is able to match. Dubas seemed to acknowledge it was a possibility yesterday. Yeah, it’s unlikely but dismissing because it doesn’t happen often doesn’t make a lot of sense. |

Your point has merit regardless. Boqvist is well ahead of Sandin. |

I don't think Dubas dismisses it. As a fan I dismiss it because it rarely happens.
I will say it again though, I think that was Dubas talking to GMs to up the offer in a trade for Sandin or just do the offer sheet. I think he knows where teams are likely to offer sheet him.

"It’s practically common knowledge that they don’t plan to issue a qualifying offer to [Strome] by the deadline Sunday..."
Would expect him to be on the Leafs' shortlist and them on his as a Mississauga native who can legitimately play center and contribute offensively doing so.
MAF and this guy...2 guys I think are going to be Leafs. |

Rodriguez interests me. He can play anywhere. I have no idea if he’s going to be expensive. White could be a bit of a reclamation project and cheap. |

no problem with the player, but the cost.
Cant see how he has that much value. I would have thought he could be had for much less.

Ya to be honest - I think it's about "role" and maybe about term. He likely wants to maintain control with a 1 yr deal whereas the Leafs want to add a year or two. |

Ya I mentioned White earlier too. Although he's a Baaston Boy so maybe he heads home.

A 35 yr old Claude father for Willy which is essentially what you're proposing... that's nuts...
Add to that 3 yrs for him... @ 6 mil. That's even more nuts.

The JT Miller watch is full on in Montreal. Understandably, Vancouver’s ask remains high, but the interest in the talented forward is very strong. A developing story we’re watching closely. - GreatGigInTheSky
Top 6, 1st, 2 prospects is the ask. |

You tell me you aren't doing the whole "shiny new toy" thing but you're willing to trade Nylander to fit Giroux in. Who is on the last legs of his career. This would be old school leafs and most definitely is "shiny new toy" syndrome.
It's fine you like Giroux but willing to sacrifice almost anything to bring him in is a little much. If he truly wants to win then he takes far less money to play on a real competitive team. If he wants money he signs with the senators and that's okay too.

But not according to Darren Dreger - good lord everyone in a rush to be first to report something just makes a mess of everything. 🙄
