Panthers have some personnel decisions to make moving forward. I’d hate to see him go, but Hornqvist might be who they try to move. I won’t say he isn’t overpaid, but he still chips in offensively, and what he brings to the team as a leader can’t be matched.
Might be good for a cap floor team with several young up and coming players.

We have a Kyle. I don't hate the idea though. Plenty of cap room, cheap acquisition, strong leader, strong play (when healthy). I'd rather fill the extremely limited forward position with a Mason Marchment, but this isn't the worst idea in the world.

Not my money to spend on him, but yes absolutely.
2 year cap dump is easy for the franchise to absorb.
At 7 they would be in the running for Gauthier or Jiricek, or could take Savoie ahead of Detroit, and use 9 for trade bait if they then dont see the value there.
