WAG (Wild A$$ Guess)
Gauthier
Lambert
Beck
No trades day 1. 41 could be one of the Russian kids. At some point grab a goalie. |

It's a no-brainer if Gauthier is there right? Think we riot if Adams was to pass. |

I just think that as mixed up as these mock drafts are, there’s going to be a few surprises. Everyone says the overall talent from 1-20 (or more) is good so the asking price for those picks should be high which may cut down the trades. Should be an entertaining draft 🥳🍺 |

I don't really like what I've read of Lekkerimaki - so I'd stay away from him.
I really like Savoie at 9 if he's there!
I like Nazar & Snuggerud as well - could we end up with both at 16 and 28 (in either order)?
I think Chesley is intriguing too, and although we don't seem to care much, his R shot could keep him out of contention for us...
What's everyone's read on Lambert? I've read he could fall to the 2nd round - that would be a steal IMO - I'd even take a swing at 28... |

*Edit - I don't think Yurov is worth the risk either

Lambert looks dominant during the games but he struggles to get on the score sheet. It’s fair to say he’s a project. This is my interpretation of what I’ve heard from different analysts so take it or leave it.
I think many of us are assuming that we will be picking the 7th best foward at the 9 spot and at that point it’s more of a reach for possible 1st line scoring potential in lekkerimaki. I’d imagine wright, cooley, slaf, gauthier, savoie and kemell are all gonna be picked ahead of us. Also the 2 RHD’s in nemec and jiricek will be gone too.
Guys like nazar and kasper are less shooters and more hard nosed. There’s also the Russian factor with the war and a top end project like miro was diagnosed with Hodgkins lymphoma. Lastly I cannot fathom is taking a left handed defenseman in the top portion of the draft.
In reality we all don’t know but that’s just my take. |

Good info! I've read Nazar is not the most skilled player, but I like his speed. I know I'm probably being overly critical with Lekkerimaki and Yurov, but I hate to see the concerns about taking plays off.

I’m with ya. I’d really like to have gauthier or savoie drop. |

Drafts aren't usually that clean. One or two of those guys will probably be there.

I wonder if Arizona goes with the hometown kid in Gauthier and shakes up the top of the draft.
Pushes one of the top 5 guys down a peg and influences the Sabres to move up for the guy they want.
Only one who really knows is Gerbe hahaha |
