He was traded and was a RFA still I believe. So he didn’t have much leverage.

Not sure why Murray nixed the trade. I know it’s “Buffalo” but if he stays in Ottawa, the team did not want him, they may send to AHL again, his cap hit makes him almost untradable.

I still think their is hope for that trade. Maybe just maybe the media was like “hey this is close”
