Bryan Marchment died. 53. Was in Montreal for the draft. Was he sick or something? No cause as of yet.

Never forget when he rode Niewendyks knee into the boards turning it into hamburger. Also won’t ever forget when he flew head first into the open door and speared the jam.
Trading him to TBay for Hamrlik was one of the finest trades Sather ever made.

My boss paid me to wait in line at west Ed to get Smytty to sign his jersey back in 98. So I waited in line for an hour and he was sitting with Mike Grier. I placed the Jersey in front of Smyth he signed it and slid it over to Rosie. He signed it as well and I took it to my boss. He was pissed. He said he couldn’t believe I got that (expletive )’s autograph on his jersey. He only wanted Smyths ,lol.
He was kinda a POS for saying that but he was my boss so whatever.
