You seem to have a reading comprehension issue. I mentioned 3 players as being good players. I did not comment on the entire list and whether it measured up to the hype. - MJL
Yeah but you’re responding to a post that listed many other players - which was the point of his post. So if you weren’t making a comment on the entirety of that list and just pointing out the same players we all know are good - what’s the point of YOUR post?? |

Frost is the one I really want them to hold, I think this season could be good for him. - wcorvette
I want to see Hart on a team with good structure and a commitment to playing good team defense. |

That’s what he does, tries to nitpick a certain angle. And then when it gets thrown back in his face he just tries to laugh it off. There was a #2 ranked prospect pool and the only good player we got out of it was Joel Farabee. Hart has a chance to be good but right now he’s a below average goalie. Those are the facts. Doesn’t matter where someone was drafted, this is reality. |

Passing judgement 5 years after the fact is a force of it’s own. I do the same with lottery tickets. After pending a year of buying 30 plus tickets and not hitting on one, I also female dog and complain about what a joke the lottery is. |

I like that, I think at least with Torts, Hart will get that chance. I have never seen a team give up so many slam dunks goals, ones you and I could put in if we were standing there.

yeah, I hope they don't move him, but it is easier replacing a left handed D, than a right. You would think the team, coach and upper management all know they lack skill, so playing a shut down game seems to be logical, but this is the Flyers
My issue is even if the Flyers stay the course, I think they will be picking in the teens next draft, I mean look how bad they had to be to finish 5th to last. |

It is the Flyers who seem to have lacked a direction the last 7-8 years as an organization. One of the reasons I wasn't turned off by the Torts hire. If anyone can get this team playing a structured game it is him even though it might hamper a player like Morgan Frost. |

You are incorrect. I responded to his comment that there was one good NHL player on the list. The point of my post was obviously that I disagreed with his comment that there is one good player on the list. Not that hard to figure out.

if a prospect pool is listed as #2 in the entire NHL what are you expecting? - ClaudeFather
I hope those same people aren't ranking prospect pools today. They're not good at it. |

What did you throw back in my face?
Again, I disagree that there was only one good player on the list. You want to invent your own facts out of pure ignorance.
It does matter where a player was drafted. If you're looking at a player such as Lindblom, who was drafted in the 5th round. If he becomes a solid 3rd line two way winger who scores 15-20 goals, that's a good player. If you want to judge whether a 3rd pair defenseman is a good player, you judge him in comparison to other players who are 3rd pair level. Not to the elite defenseman in the league. It's all about context.
You don't throw crap back at anyone. You just throw around fallacies and hyperbole once you get past the superficial juvenile extent of your knowledge. |

Why aren’t these good players helping the team improve? Carter Hart, how were his last two seasons? How about Lindblom, the guy who went how many games scoreless? Are these good players, in what world is that good? |

Nice fallacies. You completely discount the recovery from cancer as a factor. Like I said. No in depth knowledge. The equivalent of the guy in the stands who yells "shoot it"
